About us

Meet Priti Moudgill: engineer, designer, and inventor who has created and licensed multiple consumer inventions, starting with the CrissCrosser™, to some of the largest corporations in the US including Scunci®, Conair Corporation, and Rubbermaid Newell®.

Priti has a graduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, and a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. Her technical background also includes working as an Engineer/scientist at IBM Corporation,

Priti speaks several languages, has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and loves flamenco dancing. She also enjoys puzzles, pickleball, and poetry. These diverse interests together with her many interactions within diverse communities are what inspire her to constantly dream up new products.

She cofounded Peripherii Inc. with a good friend, Sonal Budhiraja. Between the two of them, Priti and Sonal have 5 degrees in engineering as well as a passion for both technology and fashion. They felt that most gadgets were made by men for men, and that there was a lacuna in products designed especially with women in mind. That, coupled with the rise of smart voice assistants, the need for hands-free, screen-free phone calls, and the utter sameness (not to mention dorkiness) of existing headphones spurred them to create SmartEarrings™.

The vision has grown to include other products that Peripherii's core customer both needs and wants.

Creativity, curiosity, curation, and customer care are the 4 C's that keep the company inspired.
